OTTAWA — Canada’s Conservatives will be the “perpetually dominant” ruling party this century because of a fundamental shift in society, says a new book by an eminent pollster and a political journalist.
According to the authors of The Big Shift, many people — especially the central Canadian “elites” who once set the national agenda — don’t realize how much the country has changed.
A coalition of influence and power has shifted to the West and Ontario suburbs, where the Tories are strong.
Waves of immigration, much of it from Asia, have brought conservative values.

“Something fundamental is happening,” they write.

My wife is a Canadian citizen.
If it weren’t for the gun laws up there, I’d seriously consider relocating there.
The U.S. is the last stand of freedom on Earth. When the U.S. capitulates or is removed as a threat to the One-Worlders, we know that Rev 13 is not far off.
America, Junior is about to get a bunch of hard-working, Conservative America, Senior immigrants.
Its good for Canada obviously but not quite the same.
Our academics and many businessmen are largely in opposition to conservatism which is driven by the guy on the street.
A more conservative Canada is good for America.
Watch out! Once the liberals have destroyed America, they’ll come streaming up to Canada like locusts.
Looking forward to it. But, if Europe collapses soon, and that is a possibility, Europeans off all stripes might be flooding our shores. The Irish are already making that move.
The liberal Canadians came south to steal all the good jobs from our Mexicans. They left conservatives behind to clean up their mess. If only there was a warm spot somewhere for me and mine...
Hard-working Euros, descendants of hard-working Euros, don’t see the problem.
Bonus question: Name the countries in the world that are self sufficient in energy and food production AND have a AAA sovereign debt rating. For purposes of this quiz "self sufficiency" is defined as: exports are equal to or greater than imports in a given sector. Hint: there are only 13 countries left that have AAA ratings.
No federal school lunch, breakfast, or dinner programs. Parents are actually expected to feed their own children. Unemployment benefits are limited to 45 weeks maximum. Criminals usually go to jail. Very little vote fraud. No food stamps. Strong pro-Israel foreign policy. Good relations with the USA. Long guns are not registered.
I could go on, but I will leave you with this crime anecdote. I live in a city about 1/3 the population of Detroit, downtown Detroit is about 5 miles from my house. My city has had one (1) murder in the last three years.
Canada, I salute you.
One suggestion, though...allow limited gun possession with the proviso that they are only to be used on liberals.
You will need it as we collapse and the vermin start north.
In Canada, you won’t have to worry about health care costs.
Medicare, paid for out of federal and provincial taxes, ensures cost is never an issue when you get sick and need care.
Taxes in Canada are higher than in the US and Canadians think highly of government’s ability to get things done. They are more like Europeans on social issues than like Americans although America is moving in the direction of Canada.
All Canadians are welcome to come on down and help get this country back on track. What Odumbo and his ilk have done, the U.S. is ripe for the pickins. Odumbo has done more to hurt this country than anyone in history.
We’re trying, but you won’t let us build a pipeline out west and a bridge over the Detroit River. That would be a start.

we will become majority brown/black/yellow and liberal socialist with whites...particularly White Christians still being the boogieman till out traditional history and culture’s villification is all used up
and then maybe in many generations from the brown mix a new whatever responsible mindset may emerge from whatever is left
or there will be violence to settle this within 100 years...given the capitulation mindset and lack of fight in conservatives of any color I doubt it
in any event ...America will never be what it was again...

Just a little hint for you good folks. The current conservative Prime Minister of Canada was one of the people involved at the very grass roots level of the conservative quiet revolution that started in western Canada. It took time, lots of time, but it built itself from a small western regional protest party into a national juggernaut. Don’t be discouraged by the earlier 3rd party fiasco with Perot. You’ll know when the real deal comes along. Good luck. (I mean that sincerely).
I don’t know where the propaganda about Canadian gun laws comes in? Sure we can’t carry, but on the other hand there is NOWHERE in my city where I feel unsafe enough that I would need a gun for protection. It’s not like the process to get a firearms license is onerous...it’s actually quite simple and straightforward, it just takes a little while.
