A growing number of firearm and firearm-related companies have stated they will no longer sell items to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them.

According to The Police Loophole (police loophole) 34 companies have joined in publicly stating that governments who seek to restrict 2nd Amendment rights will themselves be restricted from purchasing the items they seek to limit or ban.

Extreme Firepower Inc., located in Inwood, WV has had a longstanding (policy) that states:

"The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms...If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction."

[snip] "Quality Arms Idaho will not supply and firearm or product, manufactured by us, or any other company nor will we warranty, repair, alter, or modify and firearm owned by any State, County or Municipality who infringes on the right of its citizens to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment."

The ammo industry and all weapons manufacturers should follow this blockade of arms trafficking with R2KBA infringers.

This is great!

On the other hand, these companies should anticitate some pretty thorough IRS audits and "safety" inspections this year, followed by massive penalties and fines.

Fedzilla is not going to take this uppityness lying down.

Weekly OSHA, EPA, IRS and INS inspections are in their future.

I emailed S&W and Ruger asking if they have any plans to do the same. It would be great to see some of the big companys get on board.

I laud the stand being taken by the US manufacturers, but there will be plenty of foreign companies willing to step up and fill the void.

What's interesting here is that they are forgoing the govt. for the private citizen (numerically smart) but also might indicate a measure of resistance [to overbearing government] on the part of the corporate world. This is, IMO, full of potential.

Seems like the French collaborationist who anounced his national feeling by claiming that he charged the Germans more than his French customers... Of course he had no French customers.

These small companies don’t have federal contracts, and with the market the way it is, have plenty of sales to non government folks.

I don’t think they have any large government contracts say for machine guns.

Like I said, smart move market-wise.

I don’t think they have any large government contracts say for machine guns.

And what if they don't? My point is that it's intriguing to see a collection of private industry standing w/ citizens rather than overreaching government.
