Police say a homeowner fired a gun after coming face to face with a thief at a home near Ray Ellison and Five Palms drive.
It started after a man and woman ran off during an attempted robbery at a nearby CVS pharmacy this morning.
Police say during a foot chase the man ran into the homeowner's house.
Investigators say the homeowner warned the suspect and fired his weapon.

Darn it is there no safe place to hide in in Texas after an armed robbery? I think the thugs could file a class action suit...
I am the first responder in my home and the lock on the front door is for your safety...signs are posted and ammo is so hard to find and high priced No warning shots will be issued.
