The US media with few exceptions has become state controlled and slavishly slants, distorts or lies at the direction of the White House. With administrative fiat from the FCC talk radio could be ended and there is an open plan to attack, discredit and muzzle Fox News. Free speech is daily challenged with political correctness, "hate speech" prohibitions and derision. The First Amendment is tottering.
The Founding Fathers anticipated that the limited form of government in the Constitution could be corrupted and even usurped by tyrants. Hence the Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights to serve as the ultimate safeguard. They knew that an unarmed populous could easily be enslaved by armed tyranny.
If by coercion, regulatory fiat if not outright seizure of arms; the people could be disarmed and free speech and free press could be suppressed it would be possible to shatter the Constitution at will. I believe there are some in this administration who wish to impose a Marxist dictatorship in this country and are using every opportunity to erode the Constitution to achieve that end.

The GOP needs to get out of the way.
By that I mean Rove, et al. The GOP has been gutted, and we need it back. All NRA, oppose big government, bring back American business of it.
