I am not ashamed of America, as an ideal ... but I can’t stand the US federal government and about half of the people that live here.
Exactly. The idea shines brighter than ever despite the filthy, hate-filled leadership at present.
But I am disgusted by that leadership, and I am ashamed of the slaves who willingly follow.
