Anyone else been recruited by these people? I had one call about 25 years ago and he kept me on the phone for over 1/2 an hour until I had to make something up like, “Would you mind having this converstation some other time...like NEVER?”. I had known two people at work who belonged to the COS and I know it had to be them who set their “HR” people after me. I was going through some personal stuff at the time and they must’ve figured that I was ripe for the pickin’....lousy bastards!

I knew someone that was involved with them about 20 years ago. He talked me into taking a class. I got some good stuff out of it, but then they wanted you to take more classes which cost more money etc.... and I could see where this was leading. He ended up joining the Sea Org and living in Arizona cleaning bathrooms. I hope he came to his senses and wish him all the luck in the world.
