Here is what is going on, leftists know that 80 Billion is nothing in a multi trillion dollar budget. But if they can get the Republicans to cave in on ONLY 80 Billion then NO spending cuts are ever, can ever, going to happen. I think O’bastard and Co. are going in for the kill. Their fear is if the 80 Billion cuts happen and there is little or no pain(which we all know there won’t be) they will look like the lying fools that they are. O'bastard has gone from the chess board to the poker table and the stakes are high indeed. If the Republicans cave then even the primary conservative idea of smaller government has been shown to be a false premise which renders the entire Republican Party obsolete and half the nation completely powerless politically, yes the stakes are high indeed.

EXACTLY right. It's especially dangerous for him, because the we all know what the "emergency healthcare legislation" has delivered.

The Republicans HAVE to call his bluff, and if they do, they will have a shot at the debt ceiling increase.

But I have a bad feeling about this, just as I did before the SCOTUS Obamacare decision.
