It's time to air out the opinions before the public...both sides.
Subpoena their best Al Gore-type proponents...then get the real scientists in and knock down all their arguments.
I disagree. Congressional hearings are not for airing out opinions and getting to the truth. They are for political power plays, media sound bites, and masking of the truth with manufactured drama. The Democrats are masters at this, and they have the media to help them. The Republicans cannot play in this league and they have no help from the media.
The Democrats will win points with the public in spite of bad science, and global warming (climate change) will be revived as a political cause. Issa did a fair job in the Fast and Furious investigation, and yet nothing has come of it. If you can't nail them with the kind of clear evidence that was available in that case, why would you expect Issa to win any points in the murkier climate debate, where weather anomalies such as heat waves or tornadoes can be used to sway public opinion?
I hope that’s what their plan is.
I am convinced that none of the Dems/leftists etc really believe tha global climate “change” crap anyway, only the low level drones do. The upper guys know it’s just a tool to usher in tyranny.
It won't roll that way. It will be a display of histrionics and bad PR for the eeevil republicans who want the earth to heat up, parch the farmlands, and kill polar bears.
They could get every ethical scientist out there to testify against this hoax, the media will never tell you about it, and no Congressman's mind will be changed anyway.

That’s nearly 20 degrees colder than overnight lows the mars rover is recording.
Politicians do not care about logic or science. They view those things as but mere nuisance.
