I have my issues with him just like you do, but cmon. Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush are conservative enough to speak at CPAC but not Christie? Hes the current vice chair of the RGA and will be chairman next year for the midterms. Hes headed for a landslide reelection victory in a deep blue state, where his approval rating is currently the highest for a New Jersey governor in the 17 years since Quinnipiac started tracking that. Hes one of the few members of the party with a national profile whos reasonably well liked by voters across the board. Leverage his popularity, if only for a day.
I understand wanting to punish him for slobbering all over Obama after Sandy, but how do you find a spot for Chris Hayes and not for this guy? For cripes sake, Joe Scarboroughs spoken at CPAC. David Frum could probably get on a panel if he really tried. Their definition of conservative isnt strict.
At least eight potential presidential contenders will be speaking at CPAC: Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.

Romney and Jeb Bush are going to speak? I would love to have the concession for selling energy drinks to help the crowd stay awake for those inspirational talks.
Too funny!
Wasn't the Oscar party, it was the annual Governor's Dinner.
‘Allahpundit’ is a democrat facilitator...he should shut his piehole regarding all things conservative. Conservatives did not vote for the RINO in 2012; we will not vote for Christie or Bush in 2016. The game is rigged; I’m not playing.
Got it - not the Oscar party.
Did I say Oscar party - - ? hmmmm
Let’s see if I can untagle this - - -
I was asking if Gov. Christy was actually at an event where Mrs. O’Bambam was presiding, which happened to be on Oscar night. . . .
I was being incredulous . . .
And then you helped out by saying it was the annual Governor’s Dinner.
So now do I assume Mrs. O’Bambam did not preside, but was an honored guest. . . or did she host the governors???
Where did all this take place, and did she take a plane to get there???
I know next to nothing about the Governor’s Dinner.
For 3:20am, that’s the best I can do to untangle - - -
Which becomes a problem when searching for news items. The writers on Hot Air, for whom he writes for many times repackage news stories from even more liberal sites.
If Ted Cruz is not there I am not going
