1 year anniversary of neighborhood watch shooting [and the lies from the MSM continue]

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — It's been one year since neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in central Florida.

On Feb. 26, 2012, Zimmerman spotted Martin walking through his neighborhood, a gated community, in Sanford. Martin was walking back to a house he was staying at in the community after a trip to a convenience store.

Zimmerman started to follow him because he thought he looked suspicious. Despite a police dispatcher telling him "you don't have to do that," Zimmerman got out of his truck to pursue Martin.

[Lie #1: Zimmerman was already out of his truck and had been for about 2 minutes at that point]

They got into a fight and Martin was shot.

[Lie #2: Martin assaulted him ....]

Zimmerman was eventually charged with second-degree murder but has pleaded not guilty. He says Martin attacked him and that he shot the teen in self-defense. His trial is set for June.

The media still has a blackout on the pictures of Martin when he was 17, and particularly his last known picture at the 7 Eleven.

The media still has no curiosity about the prime witness against Zimmerman -- DeeDee -- and how she went from a 16 year old last year to a 19 year old in just one year.

And MSM misleads: “On Feb. 26, 2012, Zimmerman spotted Martin walking through his neighborhood, which is a gated community.”

The use of the term “gated” brings with it images of half-million dollar homes in a plush neighborhood and because Skittles was in the “gated community” Skittles didn’t belong (if you are racist like Zimmerman, you see, you would think that).

In fact, the condo’s in the community are modest and around 100K. . .cheap. So, while it did happen in a “gated community,” the community is more like an apartment community with a gate around it.
