“Barack Obama doesn’t care about black people”.

If Kanye truly wanted to challenge Obama, he'd be talking with Herman Cain and other black republicans about what he personally could do to make the life of his future child the best possible in the best nation in the world (the nation that Obama is driving into debt and driving Americans against each other like no other president ever before him).

Frequently Asked Questions - Role of Republicans re Black Equality

Snips:
. Slavery:  Democrats Fought to Expand It – Republicans Fought to End It

The Democratic Party enacted fugitive slave laws to keep blacks from escaping from plantations; instigated the 1856 “Dred Scott v. Standford” decision which legally classified blacks as property; passed the Missouri Compromise to spread slavery into 50% of the new Northern states; and passed the Kansas-Nebraska Act designed to spread slavery into all of the new states.

. The Civil War:  Democrats Seceded From The Union to Preserve Slavery

. Segregation: Democrats Opposed Civil Rights – Republicans Championed Civil Rights

.Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Was A Republican

During the civil rights era of the 1960's, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. fought to stop Democrats from denying civil rights to blacks.  It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican as has been affirmed by his niece, Dr. Alveda C. King.

. President Lyndon Johnson Was Not A Civil Rights Advocate

Behind closed doors, Johnson said:  “These Negroes, they’re getting uppity these days.  That’s a problem for us, since they got something now they never had before.  The political pull to back up their upityness.  Now, we’ve got to do something about this.  We’ve got to give them a little something.  Just enough to quiet them down, but not enough to make a difference.

. President John F. Kennedy Was Not A Civil Rights Advocate

In reality, Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights Act while he was a senator.  After he became president, John F. Kennedy opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King that was organized by A. Phillip Randolph who was a black Republican.  Dr. King criticized Kennedy for ignoring civil rights issues.

. Democrats Smeared Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The unrelenting efforts by Democrats to tarnish Dr. King's reputation continued for years after his death.  To his credit, Republican President Ronald Reagan made Dr. King’s birthday a federal holiday, ignoring how the Democrats had smeared Dr. King.

.Democrats Talk Tolerance, But Practice Intolerance

.Vice President Joe Biden and President Bill Clinton Are Racists?

None of Clinton’s inner-circle of advisors were black, and Clinton failed to take action to stop the massacre of over 800,000 Rwandans.

. President Barack Obama Practiced The Politics of Poverty

While in the US Senate, Obama voted against the minimum wage bill, then on the 2008 campaign trail, he brazenly told black Americans that he would raise the minimum wage if he became president.
