Jim, love ya, but do not agree that Jeff Winston is “pushing” it. He has simply asked an extremely tough-to-answer question, what CAN/WOULD/SHOULD we do about/with those who are truly afflicted?

I fully agree that the parents should be locked up if it can be proven that they caused the crisis; that is pure abuse.

What should we do about those afflicted? Absolutely nothing. It's none of our business. Nor is it any of government's business. It's a private family matter. And the afflicted have no business trying to make it a public concern.
