If two men can be said to be 'married' then someone is going to have to come up with another word to describe the very special relationship that exists between a man and a woman who would otherwise be 'married.' I've been saying that for years, humans will still need a word to describe the real marriage of the 99.9% of humans, so if "marriage" no longer serves a purpose in conversation, then we will have to come up with a new one for everyday conversation.
