If they truly cared about the environment and green energy, they wouldn't be tearing out existing dams that can be retrofitted at a cost comparable to erecting a windmill that works every so often and needs to be replaced every 10 to 15 years. With proper maintenance you can get a century of use out of a small hydroelectric plant that works every day, all day.

Hey, as long as there is a market to make $billion$ on “green” products and sell those squiggly lightbulbs, global warming isn’t going anywhere.

Until hippies realize that global warming is the largest, most successful marketing campaign in the history of man, it will never go away.

Someone will need funding to keep their ‘research’ job. Someone will need to sell their newest ‘green’ product. They need the fear of global warming to keep the money coming in. Its a cash cow.

He used this filthy lucre to buy a $9 million seaside mansion...despite that his movie showed rising sea levels would soon be inundating his mansion. Gore then sold his nearly defunct TV network to a bunch of oil sheiks who are getting rich by selling carbon spewing fossil fuel to run internal combustion engines which he deemed “a mortal threat . . . more deadly than that of any military enemy.” Gore's hypocrisy should have him hounded as a charlatan and fraud.
