Why should He save us? Christians sat on their hands save five thousand of us who stood on His Foundations when they took the Commandments out of the public square and subsequently tossed The Father and Christ from the culture.
There is no example in scripture of God 'saving' a people deserving judgment who refuse to repent. The prophets and watchmen suffered right along with the rest of their nation when Israel was destroyed and taken into captivity. Why should we be any different? Every single Apostle was martyred except John, who died in prison on Patmos.
Americans bought into a false gospel of health/wealth/prosperity preaching.
Which makes me wonder how few are going to hold onto their faith when everything we have known our whole lives, and what they built their religion on, is crushed and annihilated?

Why do Christians always blame other Christians (and I am referring to Biblical, born again Christians in both instances) for the mess we are in? I am sick of it.
Why didn't you 5,000 change this, just as Elisha stood alone against 600 prophets of Baal? Why weren't you successful in overturning & changing this through whatever you were referring to?
Quit blaming other Christians! There are millions of Christians standing "on His Foundations" and we are getting trounced in every single legislative battle or court battles for the few times that we win in the legislative battles. You're not the only ones standing. I vote, I call, I contribute, I pray... and we're still losing. What more are you doing above other born again, conservative, fundamental & evangelical Christians?
I don't want to sound blasphemous, but in all honesty God is rewarding evil doers such as 0bama & the leftists in unbelieveable ways, both financially & in taking more & more power.
What is it that you recommend that Christians should do to retake & restore our country? We lose most of the legislative battle or court battle that occur. What do you think Christians can or should have done to conclusively reverse the Supreme Court decisions to remove prayer from public schools in 1962, or Roe vs Wade in 1973, or state & federal courts ruling in favor of gay marriage, and a host of other evil satanic court rulings?
I don't understand how God was willing to spare Sodom & Gomorrah for only 10 righteous souls, and yet allowed America to be duped & stolen by 0bama, both in 2008 and in 2012. There were millions of born again evangelical Christians praying, working & contributing in the last election, and instead we got shellacked by the most evil president & socialist demoRAT party in American history.
When conservatives or Repubs such as Gov Scott Walker (WI) along with WI Senate & Assembly Repubs do win the elections, then liberal socialist judges overturn nearly everything that Scott Walker & the WI Repubs have passed over the past 2 years.
The only recourse I see is CW II (or hopefully the Rapture), because we are not winning the battles in legislatures or presidential elections or especially in courts ruling against every conservative or Biblical position, AND we don't seem to be receiving any divine intervention either. We are in Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter"
But quit blaming Christians! We need some Divine help & intervention against the Satanic forces running rampant in government, courts & local districts. In my own church I have heard II Chron 7:14 quoted a thousand times every year, as if that individual is the only one praying and no one else is. Basically they are blaming other Christians and offer up NOTHING to counter the downward devastation of our country.
From now on, I publicly challenge anyone who blames Christians for the mess we're in and say "What is it that you specifically did to fight & overturn some piece of horrible legislation or court ruling?"
We need either CW II or the Rapture to occur, whichever one comes first.
