I heard through the grapevine that the Reese’s had made a plea bargain, the first offer was that they’d plead guilty to misdemeanors, the feds said they needed one to cop to a felony and Terri volunteered. They were all ready to sign on the dotted line when the government reniged. Then some time passed and the feds came back and decided to take that offer but the Reese’s had changed their minds. I think they have the government over a barrel.

I think the only reason they got any convictions is that the jury had so many counts they were willing to give the feds just a little bit but if these relatively silly charges have to stand alone in front of a jury the feds will lose.

Also I think Reese’s lawyers know a lot more than they did in the original trial and I have also heard that some gun organization is helping them out and also a legal organization. The person who told me couldn’t remember which ones but it is definitely NOT the NRA.
