A wonderful write up.

And - of course - the press will give minimal (and scathing) coverage of the event.

Nothing will change until the politicians are more afraid of us than we are of them.

Same for the MSM.

http://statepolitics.lohudblogs.com/2013/02/26/at-the-capitol-thursday-pro-gun-rally-outside-gun-control-presser-inside/

(UPDATE) A gun-control press conference that had been scheduled for Thursday at noon has been canceled, according to representatives from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
As of Monday, the presser was still on the Brady Campaign’s calendar; but on Tuesday afternoon, a public relations rep said it had been canceled. It is unclear why.
The press conference was supposed to include New Yorkers Against Gun Violence and other groups led by “moms,” to “emphasize the broad support the NY SAFE Act enjoys from New Yorkers,” according to a news release.
The Brady Campaign had planned to partner with 1199 SEIU, a New York City hospital workers’ union, to form a counter protest Thursday, but that was also abruptly canceled, <AHREF=”HTTP: pro_gun_law_forces_cancel_showdown_ayCJr7Xaa67v9W4KHvGJOO? local news p www.nypost.comaccording to the New York Post.
King criticized the union and gun control groups, saying on an Albany radio show Tuesday the groups were attempting to “rent a mob” by offering free transportation and free food.

I received an e-mail invitation last week to join in and get on the bus.

I didn’t delete the e-mail, but it has disappeared from my in box.

I would be concerned that the left will have a plant or two in the crowd to stir things up for no good.
