Not only was Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano surprised when the people who work for her released hundreds of illegal immigrants this week, but she doesnt know why those detainees were in jail in the first place, she told ABC News on Thursday. Thats a good question. Ive asked the same question myself, she admitted. So were looking into it. Napolitano also said the release was poorly timed. Do I wish that this all hadnt been done all of a sudden and so that people werent surprised by it? Of course, she said. But, Napolitano explained,

I disagree.
Nappy made that statement to appeal to the Low Information Hispanic voters because she casts doubt as to whether those largely Hispanic prisoners should have been in prison at all.
Cunning, deceptive, duplicious, obfuscatory - but not stupid.
I wish we could “kick her loose” with them.
There was a list posted with a list of the ones being held for homicide, burglary and rape. There were a number of them listed. (Unfortunately I don't recall where I saw it) earlier today)

Could of used the hillery excape clause “What differenct, at this late date,does it make?”
