~~SNIP~~

the fact that they don't take it, means that I should somehow do a Jedi mindmeld with these folks and convince them to do what's right,

Illogical that would be.

I’m sure the late-night tv shows, John Stewart, Gawker Media, and Twitter will have a field day with this!

Or they will do what they usually do and rationalize it away or just ignore.

Who under 60 even knows what “Vulcan mind meld” is? The guy is so dated and clueless that it is actually kind of embarassing.

The only thing that puzzles me is why he dates to about 20 years behind his actual generation...er, maybe because he’s done a Vulcan mind-meld with Bill Ayers and all of the aged 60s radicals who brought him up in his foreign country?

Well, that's the final piece of the puzzle. No one who grew up in the US would be oblivious to the fact that Vulcans do mindmelds....

He isn't an American, Jim...

I think what he really meant was “I should possess these people and make them do what I want.”

Zer0 was referring to a Jedi mind trick. According to the Urban Dictionary, a Jedi mind trick “is something used by Jedi’s to persuade people to do things as they wish them to go. This is generally achieved by the Jedi waving his hand slowly in front of his face and speaking slowly and clearly what they would like the person to believe.”

The only trick Zer0 knows is to make people believe he is smart. We know that there is zero Zer0 there.

Wut? Star Trek is been one of the more enduring SF series of all time. It’s been in syndication for decades and episodes are available pretty much everywhere.
