Chris Matthews asked a question Sunday that should truly offend people on both sides of the aisle.
During the syndicated program bearing his name, Matthews asked his panel, "Has President Obama put himself at political risk if the big cuts do not wreak havoc?"
After all, how the matters of layoffs, deferred maintenance, closed parks, national defense degradation, et al affect Obama is the first and foremost concern.
Personally I doubt he’ll be able to be reelected after this.....
If more than half the people in this country opened their eyes it would be Mathews and his fellow media people who would be at risk for repeating everything obama says.
If there IS havoc, it will be purposeful. Not that the press will be looking into it... but IF there is any havoc, that gives Rs the perfect opening to say “why did pres cut this necessary program when he could have instead reduced or eliminated [insert random wasteful item]?

What risk are they talking about?
He won his second term — he’ll go scott free from now on whatever he decides. What could possibly happen to him.
In 2016 Obama will declare himself Sultan for Life, abolish the Constitution and will send SCOTUS and Congress home (hopefully without pay).
It’s probably the opposite. Any president will have bad times held against him. If there are good times, he will benefit.

All he has to do to keep the liberal whites happy is to keep sending Michelle, the court jester, to do late night and kid’s TV and lecture folks about healthy habits..... and keep the food stamps flowing to cover junk food
all he has to do to keep the Hispanics happy is keep opening the prisons and the borders
all he has to do to keep the Blacks happy is to keep being Black and keep threatening to grab the wealth of “rich peopel” so he can redistribute their fair share
If he drops below 40% so what? He has the IRS and he has security forces, well armed, in every federal govt agency, and he has military generals whose litmus test for promotion and retention was answering whether they would fire on US citiznes if ordered and how fast can they make accommodations for transgenders in the military

Just read the CBO expects record Tax Revenue this year, supposedly higher than the RECORD Tax Revenues set back in 2007 (when we had those Evil Bush Tax Cuts for the Filthy Rich).
Never mind the six years of increased population growth that should be producing a whole lot more Tax Revenue than back in 2007...
The only havoc that will be created will be the havoc that Obama is going to dump on the Republicans over the next two years as his strategy is to reinstall Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

Of course all of those things are being accomplished by Obama as we Speak,the only difference is Republicans let them get away with it and don’t show that 4&5 dollar gas,obamacare,rising food prices,unemployment are destroying the very people obama says he wants to help.
When you go to the doctor for a procedure and he says you can’t have it because Kathleen Sebilius says you are to old and you have had your quality of life years,so take a pill and go home,PEOPLE WILL UNDERSTAND THAT.That is because the Independent Payment Advisory Boards 15 members can’t be found by Obama,so that makes the abortion queen a health dictator and her own Death Panel,she decides and her alone whether you get treatment and you have No appeal.How many Americans know this? Sure would be nice to have representatives that would mount a fact based counterattack with this and tons of other examples of how our dear leader CARES ABOUT US,wouldn’t it?
