Why doesn't the GOP-e just join the Democratic Party? They are Both the Party of Government!

Of late Republicans seem to give up, or worse enter into any discussion with the idea the outcome will be whatever it is the liberals are promoting.

In other words they give up before they begin to consider or argue or the outcomes are even in view.
