The Obama administration denied an appeal for flexibility in lessening the sequester’s effects, with an email this week appearing to show officials in Washington that because they already had promised the cuts would be devastating, they now have to follow through on that.
In the email sent Monday by Charles Brown, an official with the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Brown asked “if there was any latitude” in how to spread the sequester cuts across the region to lessen the impacts on fish inspections.
He said he was discouraged by officials in Washington, who gave him this reply: “We have gone on record with a notification to Congress and whoever else that ‘APHIS would eliminate assistance to producers in 24 states in managing wildlife damage to the aquaculture industry, unless they provide funding to cover the costs.’ So it is our opinion that however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”

Translation: make it as BAD as we said it would be, even if you can avoid such a situation. Der Fuhrer has spoken.
Janet Neapolitan already tried this and the airports’ staff countermanded her...
Time for these people to keep speaking up...
I’M FROM THE GOVERNMENT, AND I’M HERE TO HELP........MAKE YOUR LIFE AS MISERABLE AS POSSIBLE.......
Any more of us willing to admit this government has declared war on us?
Obviously it’s all about punishing the Repubs for standing their ground.
0bama ENDING public tours of the White House solely for the purpose of making cuts VISIBLE rather than SENSIBLE is grounds for impeachment. How dare he close OUR House, anyway? He has no right to do that.. How about he STOP free cell phones or free perks for illegal aliens instead?
Illegal alien 0bama is causing a deliberate infestation of illegal aliens in the United States to make our lives miserable. How many more DUI deaths, murders, rapes, identify thefts, etc, will the 0bama regime be responsible for?
For the list.
A friend of mine who works for the Feds in a foreign country posted that his department could take cuts. He has since removed that post. LOL He hasn’t posted in over a week. I wonder if he got in trouble.
Stolen from Dr Sowell:
If there was a department of government that only did two things
-erect statues of the Cat in the Hat
-develop life-saving drugs for children
and this department was facing budget cuts,
which would it cut?
The drugs for kids, of course. This would cause the most outcry and would lead to their budget NOT being cut.
Whereas if they stopped the cat statues, no one would notice, and people would probably start to question why they were doing it in the first place.

The list, Ping

I wonder what the qualifications are to grow bollworms in Pheonix for the federal government.
Bump.
The question is...is it enough to remove the tyrant from office for abuse of authority?
I was posting last week this is what 0bama would do and started calling him and his tactics political terrorism. This a tyranny folks.
He cannot be permitted to get away with it.
EVERYONE needs to speak up to these two-bit tyrants...
I’ve said so for years, and my tagline still does.
Don't ask. They might just show up and drop trou for His Heinous.
In the past few weeks, Americans have been subjected to a barrage of doomsday predictions regarding the disaster that would befall us should the sequester come to pass. Many were rightly incensed, then, that last Thursday, only one day before the “devastating” sequester cuts were scheduled to kick in, newly appointed Secretary of State John Kerry announced that the Obama administration will be giving $60 million to a group of Syrian rebels fighting Bashsar Assad.
This hypocrisy was quickly followed up with an announcement on Sunday by Kerry that the administration will be giving Egypt’s increasingly anti-democratic Muslim Brotherhood government $250 million in return for promises of economic reform — which will rise to $1 billion if that reform is deemed successful.
BUT....no money for the suffering Americans or economic reformes here. Can't afford it. (Let the slaves eat cake.)
In other words, "You must make it as painful on the American citizens as possible. The more pain inflicted, the better it is for our 2014 campaigns. You have your orders. Make it hurt!"
(Oboma had the nerve to complain about weatherboarding terrorists. Hypocrite!!! )
