On Wednesday afternoon, Christopher Anders, Senior Legislative Council at the American Civil Liberties Union in Washington D.C., spoke with Breitbart News exclusively about Senator Rand Pauls filibuster of the John Brennan nomination to CIA director over the administrations failures to answer questions about domestic use of drones. Anders backed Paul to the hilt, and was highly critical of the Obama administration.

One-time event. They need cover so they don’t look absurd in the future.
-—but I’ll take what I can get this time.
He just mentioned the possibility of drone strikes in Ann Arbor and almost lost me. LOL
No doubt. I’m just stunned. Maybe the ACLU wants sympathetic press. Maybe the Mayans were right.
WOW
He is still talking and keeping the filibuster going.
A lot of the mainstream “reporters” are quiet about this (on Twitter) but a few are making a lot of snarky remarks, providing further proof they are in fact, the State Run Media.
He asked the democrats if they would vote on a resolution that clearly takes drone strikes against Americans on American soil off the table.
Durbin offered to let him testify at a hearing. Democrats are looking really bad on this and liberals and conservatives are with Paul.
Sen Ted Cruz mentioning the reaction on Twitter, which is EYE opening!
Yes, many snarky remarks, Twitter is very informative, without meaning to be so sometimes...
I for one, am very glad to be home sick today and get to hear this filibuster. It is a real piece of history. Rand Paul really being an American, standing up for our rights.
I think conservatives are a lot more effective on twitter than we are on much of the social media.
I’m seeing lots of conservative politicians who #standwithrand like Michele Bachman, Rick Santorum etc.
Of the few GOP Senators coming on the floor, 2 are of Cuban descent. They have an idea of tyranny is, as opposed to scum like Rep Serrano who praises Hugo Chavez.
Sen. Paul was the keynote speaker at the Lincoln Day dinner on Monday of which I was in attendance. He couldn’t stay very long, but spoke for over 20 minutes. He was livid about Hillary’s testimony over Benghazi. He did bring up the Brennan confirmation hearing and wasn’t too happy about that either. But he made no mention of the filibuster.
Good for him, because the 700 of us in attendance loved what he had to say and gave him a standing ovation at the end of the night. He was awesome.
If you listened to Rush today you would have heard him discuss the Pew Report regarding Twitter and how it is purposefully filled with young Obots, “twistroturfing “ if you will (YES! I just made that up!) in order to formulate popular opinion and these “Twitter” fiends believe these are real “trends”.
It’s all bulls*it!

Yeah, that’s for the person who hasn’t got the ability to do any critical thinking.
On Twitter, what matters is WHO follows who, and where that trail leads you. Very interesting to see the general trail of tweets and nottweets, coming from certain directions.
It’s about reading BETWEEN the lines.
Is he the only one who is allowed to speak? Or can other Republicans take his place?
Others can speak but I believe Paul must remain standing on the floor for the whole time.
Oh, okay. Mr. Paul goes to Washington, huh?
I’m liking him better and better every day.
This is why the traditional form of filibuster is so important. They cover so much ground than almost nothing is left out.
