Just like Republicans, Democrats say President Barack Obama has overhyped the effects of the automatic spending cuts and offered a confusing message about it.
Initially the White House was full of doom and gloom, warning of interminable lines at airports, widespread firings of teachers, and quick, huge job losses in the private sector as government contracts were canceled. That was going overboard, says former Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell.
A top Democratic congressional aide scolded Obama for strategic incompetence.
Even Michigan Rep. Sander Levin, the ranking Democrat on the Ways and Means Committee, who basically agrees with Obama on the sequester, told MSNBC, Maybe at times theres been an overstatement.

I’m sorry to say that I suspect Zero is praying for a disasterous mid-air collision to take the lives of hundreds of passengers so that he and his lapdogs in the press can furiously blame the GOP.
I fervently hope that he is only praying for such a calamity, and not engaging in any undertakings to make it happen. I’ve seen entirely to much of his end-justifies-the means shananigans, the type of things so typical of the far left, that I cannot be entirely confident that he wouldn’t do anything like that.
Whenever Democrats start talking about problems with “the message,” you know they’re looking for a scupper to jump from.
