The injury occurred on property owned by Walmart and under their control where they control the safety parameters. In addition the victim suffered real life threatening injuries as a result of their negligence and he incurred expenses for medical care. In this situation there’s no damages; Walmart would make him a new cake, apologize and throw in sone more goodies for measure and he knows it. This is a situation where a young liberal sees an opportunity to cash in. Sometimes people make mistakes. This was one of them and the liberal doesn’t want to be forgiving because he sees an opportunity he can exploit or profit. Trust me, Walmart’s attorneys have already been contacted and they are running a background check on him to see if he has any prior convictions or filed any frivolous lawsuits in the past among other things.
