Does he really believe Saudi Arabia is an good ally of this country? The reason Saudi Arabia interacts with us, is to undermine us Infidels.-Tom

Saudi Arabia is no more an "ally" of the U.S. than China is. In both cases, the U.S. maintains very cordial relations -- and in the case of Saudi Arabia, we even prop up a radical Islamic totalitarian regime -- because they use U.S. dollars as the currency of trade.

I'm not sure what kind of point this "strategic expert" is trying to make. When you look at the small size of Israel and the lack of any natural resources or commodities over there that Americans need in abundance, it's hard to conclude that there is anything of consequence at risk for the U.S. there.
