Rush just quoted Graham as saying that Rand Paul’s filibuster motivated Lindsey to vote for Brennan.

UnFrigginBelievable!

Strange isn’t it? Young Hispanic Senators stood shoulder to shoulder with young white Senator Rand, while old white sellouts sat butt to butt with black Obama.

LOLZ...his dad always seems like he is describing why one antibiotic is better than this other antibiotic, but med A has the side effect of....

From last night, my opinion, Paul was folksy and knowledgable; Cruz was the smartest kid in the room who knows all the correct answers; and Rubio was the “funny” one.

Rubio should have translated Paul’s issue with the drones into Spanish. That, IMO, would have pushed the filibuster into pop culture status.

It was towards the end of the filibuster. All of a sudden the camera shots got crowded. Scott is an imposing (very tall and large) man. He was given a few minutes and spoke eloquently off the cuff.

Thanks, PM. Darn, I kept saying to my husband: "Where is Sen. Tim Scott??" Then we must have flipped to another channel for awhile, and unfortunately missed him speak.

Cruz articulately outlined Aliwaki last night. Paul spoke broadly, (IMO) Cruz came in with the details.

Paul and Cruz were an absolutely magnificent team last night!

One thing Rush didn’t ask Rand that I am curious about—after all this, will he end up voting for Brennan like he did for Hagel and Kerry?

I’m impressed as hell with Rand Paul.

If he’s serious about 2016, he should make this drone issue a core issue, now that he’s got everyone’s attention. Name one significant voting group who would NOT favor following constitutional law and the Bill of Rights with regard to domestic use of drones? It’s something that could bring support to him from Rs, Ds, Is, and even L’s (libertarians, not lesbians, but them too!)

I think he’s really hit a nerve. Back Obama and the lamebraine GOP-E McCain-Graham faction into the corner and make them come out in favor of something that 99% of Americans will oppose, for one reason or another.

Absolutely spot on! Cruz is very charismatic... when he speaks, you don't want to stop listening. You want to keep listening for fear you might miss something profound.

Rubio should have translated Paul’s issue with the drones into Spanish. That, IMO, would have pushed the filibuster into pop culture status.

Oh that would've been interesting... ;-)

Yes, he should have asked Paul that question.

WHY did Rand Paul vote for Kerry and Hagel?? Especially Hagel... yeesh...

Dear future callers: if you feel compelled to talk about something you consider CUTE about your pets during a Rush Limbaugh phone call..>THINK TWICE. It is boring, frustrating and we are NOT the least bit interested in your flea bitten mutt. My 2 cents. I would of hung up on this woman.

Holy carp! Did Rush just say that if the GOP won’t do the job, that conservatives were going to go 3rd party?

LiLo sounds (truly) like a mean, spiteful teenage girl. He’s pi&&ed he’s never filibustered. Stomps his foot and holds his breath too...

Sen. Paul has said that he will vote for whomever the president appoints unless they are not eligible under constitutional constraints.

He doesn’t want the Dems to have any cover when they pull the same crap.

I wonder if Paul voted for the other two to give him “cred” to go after the drones (and by delay, Brennan). Just my “thereom.”

Yay, I just got back from a meeting to hear Mccain’s moronic drivel. The GOP elite are really pushing for a 3rd party.

I thought the translation would be a great “time user upper” so Paul could at least get a bite to eat.
