We were thinking that it sure looks like a “coup” ... whereby a fairly small group of Marxist Leninist Islamicists seized control of the top ranks of the party apparatus (with the help of unlimited funding from Soros/Saudi Royal Family/etc.).
if you are correct and it is the broad base of the party membership, kiss America goodbye.
if it is a coup type situation, then it can (and likely will eventually) be corrected
