So true. When I was in undergraduate (1961-1965) my fraternity would have an annual Moms’ Day when the members’ moms would come and spend a weekend with us. One of the high points was when we’d take them out to a local beer bar and the bartenders would card them. Never failed to make them happy.
From time to time I would help a friend of mine out sitting at the door. We carded every woman that walked in. I didn't care if she had blue hair and needed a walker.
Flash forward my wife and I are in our late 20's out with another couple a year younger than us. The bouncer cards my friends wife but not mine. Later on I told him that he would be doing himself a big favor by carding every woman. He didn't seem to get it.....oh well.
