Are we looking at another Korean War? Seems that these North Korean folks are starving or really need some support to stay in power. Neither option is a good one.

IIRC, that non-aggression pact was the basic peace agreement that suspended hostile operations at the end (?) of the war--one my father fought in.
Another outbreak is a possibility.

Kim the Third is very young and inexperienced; it may be that he has to look tough for his generals, and possibly even promise them a war, in order to consolidate his hold on power.

Last gasps of a dying country.
Or, Rodman seriously pissed them off. To which, I don't care.

It’ll be a slaughter. If South Korea can take out the guns aimed at Seoul in the first few minutes, before they decimate Seoul, then it’s over.
1/2 of the Norks will run toward the Chinese border and attack the Chinese as they try to flee. The other half will run home and try to protect their villages or surrender.
The Norks have the only ‘leader’ less qualified than the US. Although he was supposed to be a savant at Call of Duty, so he may be more qualified than Osama.

The last Korean War never actually ended, it just went on indeterminate hiatus. It’s legally still ongoing.

True - but active war is a bit different than a truce. Yes, I’m old enough to understand what you are saying though...

Saber rattling to get Obama to give them more money. He will do it to. To keep the peace he will hand them some gold. This will all blow over.

Exactly! He is trying for another load of food for bluff as I see it (have to keep the peasants fed somehow). The problem is that it will probably work with this group in charge...as you said!

My take as well. However it's interesting to wonder....
What would happen to companies like Samsung, Hyundai, LG and others if a war with the Norks resumed?

Pathetic, insignificant NBA disgrace. Seems like a desperation move
by Rodman and his agent.
Must be broke. No longer marketable , Rodman gets a payday
through the North Koreans.
What a shameful Bozo!

Look elsewhere for what is really going on. The Axis of Evil mentioned by President Bush still exist, except the players have slightly changed. They have expanded to to include Venezuela etc.
All the while the Russians and Chinese are playing behind the scenes. The nonaligned nations were never nonaligned, but a separate movement to hinder and destroy our influence, in favor of socialism.
We really need a movement to Restore Our American Republic.

Another glorius Obama missAdministration, Kerry State Department triumph!!!!
Of course, his legacy will not truly be cemented until Pakistan nukes Bombay.

they will promise to be good, then they will get another truckload of food and cash in exchange... then when it runs out, they will light off another firecracker; same cycle that has been repeating for years.
And we will fall for it again. So who is really stupid in the end?

If a person is terminal and pissed off why shouldn’t he take someone out with him.
Maybe that is the way N. Korea is thinking.
