Ashley Judd has yet to officially announce her political aspirations, but a source with intimate knowledge of the situation tells FOX411's Pop Tarts column the actress is preparing herself to challenge Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for his Kentucky seat in 2014.

You have some hopes for a commie win?
Ugh.
What? She is a far left whacko. The GOP strategy ought to be to portray her as a Hollywood liberal who knows nothing about Kentucky values.
And nothing about the part that she’s actually a TENNESSEE resident for the past 20 years?
When the ads with her anti-coal comments start running she’ll lose the Eastern half of the state.
When the ads with her anti-children comments start running she’ll lose an appreciable portion of the Christian and suburban mommie vote.
When the ads with her anti-gun comments start running she WILL lose the UK vote.
Now, wait. That might not be the only reason. I might vote for a guy named Richey Farmer for Agriculture Commissioner. I mean, a richie farmer is what you need, don't you?
Didn’t you guys just elect a libertarian US Senator?
Why??? We can’t unseat Mccain, Graham or Mcconnell or Boehner. They do more harm than good . It takes a Lib to get Mcconnell out because a real Conservative can’t eradicate his nonsense as Leader.
Notice Mccain is still out calling Republicans Wacko, today.

“Pop Tarts” - fitting description for Ashley
Basically, Ole Ashley is crazier than an outhouse rat. I like this anecdote (one of many) best:
For lunch, we went to a delightful open-air restaurant run by an elderly Boer couple. We drank rooibos tea and scarfed down biltong in the heat of a veld afternoon, and all was lovely. Ashley Judd regaled us with tales of profound human suffering:
I will never fly Virgin again. Last time, Dario and I were in the first-class section, and they seated us where we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the galley. Clink, clink, clink, the whole time. I asked them to stop, and the little motherfuckers gave me such attitude. It was horrible -- my husband saw what was coming, and he reached out to hold my hand, and I bawled all the way from Los Angeles to London.
True. He’s still an A-Hole tho. LOL
We will see what Kentucky is made of.
She’ll lose by the same margin Obama lost the state by (around 16-18 points).
That sounds likely.
She sure is quite the class act, isn't she... Sounds like something that very likely had a "Do you know who I am" moment. She seems to have disdain for the "little" people.
Good Luck!
There’s still very much an old boy network in place in KY. Dems win, but they do so mostly (outside of Louisville) as Conservatives. Ones who are to the right of people like Romney, McCain and Graham.
Outside of Yarmuth, who could see his seat saved by having Judd at the top of the ticket, KY Dems are at best acting tepid towards a Judd candidacy since it stands a chance of hurting many downticket races.
Not me. Mitch McConnell isn’t the most conservative hammer in the bag, but at least he is in the bag.
Good God, Ashley Judd would be Al Franken with boobs. Who wants that in the Senate?
