Former congressional candidate pleads guilty to illegal voting

TOWSON--State Prosecutor Emmet C. Davitt announced Friday Wendy W. Rosen, the Democratic 2012 nominee in Maryland's First Congressional District, pleaded guilty in the Circuit Court of Baltimore to charges of voting illegally in Maryland in the 2006 and 2010 general elections.

... Rosen's withdrawal came amid a national debate over whether voter fraud is a major problem, and whether the efforts of some states to require more identification may suppress turnout by the young, elderly and minorities in elections. It is unclear whether voter ID laws would prevent someone from casting ballots in two states for the same national election.

Her quote from the Cecil Whig (subscription only) March 8, 2013:

. On Friday morning, Rosen released a public statement in which she admitted voting twice, but added that she did so in "civil disobedience" in protest of unfair voting conditions.

"I voted twice. It was an act of civil disobedience in recognition of the millions of legitimate voters who have been illegally prevented from voting or having their votes counted, during the past four presidential elections," Rosen wrote in the statement. "

I had to post this when I read her reason/excuse for breaking the law.

Unfortunately, she did not receive any jail time.

Tip of the iceberg. And she SHOULD have received jail time plus suspension of her voting privileges for the rest of her life.

And something else I just thought of, can Florida charge her also (the other state where she voted) or would that be double jeopardy?

I think double jeopardy only comes into play in the case of murder. Florida should charge away!

This can’t be true. The MSM and the Democrat Party (I know, I know - same thing) tell me that there is no vote fraud.

Casting illicit/fraudulent votes is treason and should garner the death penalty. IF America was as the founders established it, with We The People as the sovereigns --that means the individual one of the sovereigns along with all fellow legitimate American citizens, for those in Rio Linda--then cheating by voting more than once or created fraudulent votes disenfranchises the person who cast their vote legitimately in opposition to whatever the fraud is voting for. This is treason against the sovereign, and hanging by the neck until dead is appropriate sentence ... but I would accept death by firing squad manned by six legitimate citizens of the United States. I will volunteer to be in the first dozen squads, if the democrips and republicants will prosecute the traitors.

The deomcrip party is a criminal enterprise and cannot survive without lies and treason to establish their power.
