Full title: First Lady: ‘Imagine’ an America Where Kids Beg for ‘More Fruits, Vegetables’ – ‘It is Possible To Create This World!'

(CNSNews.com) – First Lady Michelle Obama said she can “imagine” an America where businesses promote the “healthiest options” so children will be “begging and pleading” for fruits and vegetables, adding that “it is possible to create” such a world.

“I mean, just think for a minute what this country could look like,” Mrs. Obama said at the Partnership for a Healthier America Summit on Friday at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

“Imagine walking into any grocery store in America and finding the healthiest options clearly marked and centrally placed so that you know within seconds what’s good for your family when you walk in that store,” Mrs. Obama said. “Imagine opening up a menu in any restaurant and knowing exactly what items will give your family the most nutrition for your hard-earned dollar.”

“Imagine our kids begging and pleading, throwing tantrums to get you to buy more fruits, vegetables and whole grains,” Mrs. Obama said.

“Yes, this is possible,” Mrs. Obama said. “It is possible to create this world!”

Mrs. Obama praised corporations like Walmart, Disney and Darden Restaurants for marketing healthier foods to children.

She also touted the launch of “Let’s Move Active Schools,” a $70 million initiative “to promote physical activity and bring physical education back to our schools,” Mrs. Obama said.

This person, Michelle Obama, is not someone I want my children to emulate. I think she/he is an offensive and unattractive human.

Why she/he thinks she/he knows more about parenting than I do is offensive.

I bet he/she does not even raise her/his own children or feed them herself/himself.

Step off Michelle Obama.

That graphic is a hoot and sums up her thinking precisely (going by some of her past statements).

Be assured these kids who are being forced to eat the moochers food at school, get home and gorge themselves with real kid stuff. This is a joke and it is what Americans get for taking federal school money, thus allowing them to dictate their agenda.

More throwing money away to build up M O'B's legacy.

Don't worry, Obama is doing all he can to put massive regulations on the fast food industry to bring them to their knees.

The reason for the begging for healthy food is because that will be all that is avaiable and people will be starving so will eat what is avaiable so much it will make them sick.

Let them eat cake syndrome. The Obama's waste SOOOO much money.

My kids do beg for fruits and veggies, especially those we grow ourselves. They never had formula, I made all their baby food, blah blah blah. Here’s the thing Mooch: It’s my life and my decision not yours. I don’t need your f***ing advice. I raise my own food and let my kids play in the garden for many reasons, one of which is that thanks to your husband my grocery bill keeps going up. Another reason is because I want my kids to know from where food really comes so that they have a survival chance when your hubby deals our country it’s final death blow. So Mooch, go shove a non-GMO, organic watermelon up your a$$.

First Lardbutt of the US Visits The Food Channel

Food Channel's Paula Dean:

"Michelle Obama loves fried food and ate more than any other guest I've had on my show"

"I did a show with Michelle [Obama] and I just loved being with her."
"She probably ate more than any other guest I've ever had on the show."
"She kept eating even during commercials."

Glork, glork, glork, glork, glork, glork, glork.....

diet soda is actually more harmful than regular soda for most of us

You couldn’t be more correct.

No matter the reality or practicality of the programs either of them come up with there’s no limit to the amount of taxpayer dollars they try to throw at it. Unfortunately they’ve thrown billions of our dollars at them and we’ve little if anything at all to show for it.

Amen to that! And I might add the governments but I know you meant that too.

What a couple of narcissistic self centered greedy lowlifes.

It’s not hard to imagine, and I believe it could happen, if we continue following Obamanomics-there will be food shortages and children will be starving all over the world.

Whether by design or inadvertent. I believe it could happen, and I don’t think it will be anything to brag about.

Now I don’t know about Mrs. O, but I have zero trouble going into a supermarket or restaurant and knowing instantly what is good and nutritious and what is not.
