DENVER- A TV host is speaking out against Colorado's gun proposals. If passed, he plans on moving all productions out of Colorado.

Michael Bane is an Executive Producer and host for the Outdoor Channel which currently has four series in production, including the popular show Gun Stories.

In an email to Republican Senator Steve King, Bane says if the Democrat-sponsored bills pass, Colorado will become known as unfriendly to sportsmen and will force other producers across the country to consider other states.

The host says he's already cancelled a scheduled filming session for late this month.

“why are you hanging out in a state in which you are increasingly unwelcome?”

Probably because this Texas/Kali infestation only happened in the past few years. That’s right, Texas. There are just as many Texas liberals here as there are Kali liberals. Texas breeds sucker moms.

Tell the to try the southern suburbs. Douglas county is as conservative as it gets..... They’d feel right at home. I hate what easy illegal immigration and kalifornication is doing to my once proudly conservative western state!

“Douglas county is as conservative as it gets”

Not really. There are loads of liberals there. Highlands Ranch, for instance, is a beehive of technical professionals that are as liberal as they come. I’ve known literally hundreds of them and no more than 25% were conservative. Castle Rock, Larkspur, Perry Park all have the “leave me the Hell alone” crowds that vote conservative but even then half of them are rabid liberals. I live in Larkspur and know very well just how liberal this crowd here is, and I lived in Highlands Ranch for 13 years, 1995-2008. The older crowd there was very conservative, the younger generations are extremely liberal.

In the last few elections the conservatives barely won out. If that liberal but leave-me-alone crowd ever goes full on liberal voting Douglas is as doomed as any county in this State. I also know several directors in the Douglas County government and they are extreme left-wing liberal. Our commissioners are voted in conservative but I expect next election cycle for that to change.

The outer lying counties of Colorado still barely vote conservative but many of them want illegal aliens to get legal residency as they work those farming communities. So, who is touting amnesty, Democrats. Guess who is getting more outer lying county votes? Yep, Democrats. You will see a solid blue State by 2014. No longer are we going to be even purple. Doom and Gloom? Maybe. Things might change as they did with Owens, but I doubt it. As Rush says: It is hard to beat Santa Clause giving away so much money.

:-) Maybe we could rent one of those mini-buses like the senior centers use and get some paying passengers! Enough to pay for gas anyway. A rolling party. Tours of historic Cheyenne. Hey! we don’t know nuttin’ ‘bout what our passengers shop for on their own time. heh
