A comment at the gun blog asked whether Mark’s purchase could be considered a straw purchase because he bought the AR to “give” to someone else (the PoPo).

Of course, he only made up the bit about giving the gun away to the police after bloggers started calling him on the phone asking about the gun. Then, three days after the purchase, he posted his Straw Man Purchaser story on his facebook page.

I would love to see Mark Kelly on the stand, forced to tell the truth, which is that he bought this rifle so he could be grandfathered when the ban comes down, like millions of Americans are doing all over the country.

Of course, he feels he can be trusted with such a weapon. It is only the rest of us who cannot be trusted.

Exactly. The elite believe they can be armed, just not the peasants.
