Cruz was born in Canada the mother being a USA citizen and the father being a Cuban citizen. The family lived in Canada on non-USA government business. That is why my take is that Cruz is not a Constitutionally eligible person for POTUSA.

Thats not a family with intentions to make their son an NBC under the jurisdiction thereof the Constitution..
She could have could back across the border for his birth but she chose not to...
Cruz is NOT an NBC and he is NOT eligible...
Like Obama we could say Cruz could be born in the Lincoln bedroom but that non-American father of his stops him from being eligible to be POTUS...
I’m not sure Cruz’s father was a citizen of any country at the time of his birth. He may have been stateless.
IIRC Castro stripped the citizenship of Cubans that left Cuba.
