Thomas Perez Should Be Blocked
American Spectator ^ | March 12, 2013 | Quin Hillyer

Panther-case scofflaw merits no cabinet post.

If President Obama thinks he can get away with appointing an obvious prevaricator to be Secretary of Labor – and a radical, race-baiting one at that – he has lost all touch with reality. Even a group as confused and fractious as the caucus of Senate Republicans is sure to find the collective backbone to block the (expected) appointment of Thomas Perez.

As I described in detail last August, Perez is one of the most loathsome figures in the thoroughly loathsome political ranks of Obama’s Justice Department.

He has led the administration’s racial scaremongering against voter ID laws, but got smacked down hard by the U.S. District Court for the D.C. Circuit, so that elections in South Carolina this week will go ahead with the law in effect. (This wasn’t a partisan decision: The unanimous three-judge panel included Clinton appointee Colleen Kollar-Kotelly.)

Indeed, Perez doesn’t even seem to be a very good lawyer at all: His positions also have been rebuked by courts in Arkansas (about the Civil Rights for Institutionalized Persons Act), again in the D.C. District Court, in New York on an education case (U.S. v. Brennan), in a Florida abortion case where Perez’ team was abusively prosecuting peaceful protesters, and most particularly in a major Perez loss in Florida when trying to force the state not to remove non-citizens from its voter rolls.

Perez has overseen most of the unprecedentedly naked politicization of DoJ’s Civil Rights Division, as detailed in an exhaustive series of reports at PJ Media. In short, of 113 “career” (meaning supposedly apolitical) civil-service hires for the Civil Rights Division under Obama and (mostly) Perez, every one of those 113 were demonstrably liberal activists. (The New York Times effectively confirmed this report:..

He should be blocked, but he won't. Obama has shoved through a Military-hating Sec of Defense, a lying Muslim as Head of the CIA, a patriot manque as Sec of State......Every one of these bottom feeders should have been blocked. Do any of us think another scum sucker will be blocked? The Republicans are fond of saying ‘a President deserves to get the Cabinet he wants’. They THINK this will help us when we have the power again. Unless we get some integrity back into our elections, WE WILL NEVER HAVE THE POWER AGAIN. Wake up, Republicans in DC! You are complicit in the destruction of this one great country!

I totally agree. Obama has selected mostly the dregs in Washington for his administration and Americans are paying the price for it.

Republicans in the Senate should let him have the people he wants IF they are qualified but they've rubber stamped many that are not.

Power-crazed Ohaha figures this guy is an ideal candidate---he hates America and Americans. Perez is one of the most loathsome figures in the loathsome political ranks of Holder-led DOJ. Haters like Ohaha, Holder and Perez are parasites---using US gvt authority and tax dollars to foment hatred againt America and Americans.

===========================================

REFERENCE---PEREZ COULD DEMAND LA RAZA STUDIES IN OUR SCHOOL CURRICULUM: These shocking quotes are taken directly from A LA Raza textbook "Occupied America" (pg. 167): “Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego). LA Raza school textbook chapter from “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and if worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

La Raza books also talk about the need for the govt of Mexico to re-take seven states in SW United States. so that the Southwest USA would become a Chicano nation. And judging by Ramos' activities---La Raza is establishing a beachhead in NJ.

YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given to "La Raza charter schools" via the US Dept of Education grants. These charter schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.

In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce the teaching of murdering Americans and latino violence, the federally-funded La Raza organization operates 100 charter schools across America.

Perez is a problem for sure.

On another note, we seem to have foreign borns running everything these days...even in the so called ‘conservative’ camp. Al Cardenas, born in Cuba, is the head of the ACU. He’s Grover Norquists buddy in crime at CPAC. While we all sit around complaining about Obama and his questionable alliances, the conservative (and Tea Party movement) is being destroyed from within.

Forget vote-crazed politicians doing something about this slimeball. Perez is clearly a ntl security threat.

L/E should get on his stinking tail. We need exposure of all of his anti-American activities.......and the scope and dimenson of Perez using govt monies to undermine US ntl security and the safety of Americans.

REFERENCE Taxpayers could sue banks holding tax-exempt monies that cover-up tax fraud. Under the Bank Secrecy Act passed by Congress, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering, tax evasion, govt fraud and other financial crimes.

“Unless we get some integrity back into our elections, WE WILL NEVER HAVE THE POWER AGAIN. Wake up, Republicans in DC! You are complicit in the destruction of this one great country! “

And we need to start in our own camp! Al Cardenas, born in Cuba, is the head of the ACU and helps run CPAC. He’s Grover Norquists buddy in crime at CPAC who are banning any criticism of Norquist radical islamic ties. While we all sit around complaining about Obama and his questionable alliances, the conservative (and Tea Party movement) is being destroyed from within.

Pam Geller & Robert Spencer take on CPAC’s banning of conservatives.

Republicans, as a party, are thoroughly morally and ethically compromised. There is no possibility of saving the GOP. A new conservative, patriot party is the only possible solution to this country’s need for constitutional government.

Contention at CPAC 2013: The Counterjihad vs. Grover Norquist, Brett Kimberlin, et. al.

[snip]Ooooh, looky here:

This page lists board of directors of the American Conservative Union, which hosts CPAC. The page isn’t easy to find, most likely because it shows both Grover Norquist and fellow mole Suhail Khan. Grover is keeping a low profile; as of this writing, I don’t see him on the speakers’ roster.

The ACU chairman is Al Cardenas,[born in Cuba[********** who has been pushing for another amnesty for illegal aliens.************* He actually expects us to believe that giving eleven million illegal aliens (including a large number of Muslim infiltrators) will “stimulate the conservative electorate.”

Perez is nothing more than a leftist racist jerk. That’s a work bio that reads like it’s straight from h*ll.

This jerk has cost the taxpayers millions of dollars from his bogus interpretations of the law and now the turkey in the WH wants to promote him. A real head shaker.

Perez is garbage, just like virtually every Obama appointee.

He was confirmed by the Senate to his current position in October 2009 by a vote of 72-22.

Here’s a link to the actual vote. Notice the Republicans who voted for him, 16 of them. The usual suspects...
