Don’t post your fantasies online. This is the age of thought crime.

I guess he and his lawyer figured that the government should have waited until he finished his meal before prosecuting.
This is a bit like attempted murder I guess , only at this point he was only daydreaming on the internet. Being married to a guy who dreams about cooking his wife sounds a bit scary though.

I wonder if this cop would be able to pass the mental test that everyone talks about, that’s supposed to prevent crazies from purchasing a firearm?

So, a cop is getting sent behind bars for offenses against the thought police but we can’t get restraining orders from cops until after something heinous actually happens. It’s an upside down world.

The article doesn’t even say what the charges were. What did he do? Fantasize about killing and eating his wife?

Haven’t these guys ever heard of secure transactions? Still, plotting with relative strangers to commit murder is really a stoopid ideer.

The dude never did anything to carry through on his fetish. He was convicted for writing things over the internet. The appellant division should overturn.

Accused "cannibal cop" Gilberto Valle was convicted today on all charges in what prosecutors called a "heinous plot" to kidnap, cook and eat his wife and several other women. There's his problem... he couldn't just keep it in the family.
