I watched, for example, Red and Black, and Revulsion. Otherwise there wasn't all that much time or movies. Think a girl and I went to see Khartoum ~ had a lot of violence, showed a lot of skin, but she checked the Legion of Decency review and they said it was OK ~ guess that's because the Moslems lost!
I suspect you’re right.
I have thought also that the public skrewels could be conditioning an inordinate fear of guns into the children. A sort of generational disarmament, as it were.
