The first thing the Dutch girl did once she’d converted to Islam was change her name – to Soumaya, she says, because “she was the first martyr. She was prepared to die for Allah.”
Soumaya, née Aphrodite, is one of a wave of tens of thousands of Westerners who convert to Islam every year, more than 75 percent of whom, astonishingly, are women. Equally surprising is the fact that most of these women gravitate to conservative Islamic groups – the more misogynistic and oppressive ones – insisting all the while that they feel “liberated” and “free.”
Reading through dozens of stories of such women, one can’t help but notice the similarities among them. All claim to have embraced Islam of their own free will; yet an overwhelming majority, like Soumaya (whose story was profiled in the Dutch newspaper Het Parool), converted only after dating (or wedding) a Muslim man, usually – interestingly enough – a Moroccan (even in countries like England, where Moroccans do not form the majority Muslim population).

There are probably 100s of thousands if not millions of women who just have to be living with a punk who beats them up constantly. Seems like living with a moose-lum denigrates, humiliates, and insults these women, so it fits right in. So, I’m not surprised at this “phenomenon.”

It’s like Islam is a cult... not a faith.
Of course there are always people who are so lost and pathetically ignorant that cults appeal to them.... it’s a way for them to ‘belong’ without qualifying.
Or alternatively, once mainstream Christianity turns into a New Age, feel good entertainment hour where the message is that God loves you no matter what and you don't need to believe in or do much of anything, then people turn away from it and start believing in something else.
I wonder how much it will protect them the first time they are caught with an ankle uncovered or walking with a male who isn't their husband or relative.

any female muslim has to be a masochist with a wish to get beheaded by her muslim male counterparts. What are muslim women promised when they go to Allha’s heaven?
...although...I do feel women, in today’s western culture, are enslaved to a non-natural state. Feminism and PC are powerful tools that pressure women to “be a certain way”, convincing them that “sexual liberation” is actually liberating - instead it shackles them with the consequences.
Maybe some women innately reject this modern philosophy and are trying to find something different elsewhere. Unfortunately they found “different” in Islam, most likely without knowing where it’ll ultimately leave them.
It is a cult....a violent, murderous blood cult.
A couple of thoughts:
1. Tens of thousands is not necessarily that large a number. Could be anywhere from 10K - 99K.
2. These women may be looking for a someone to tell them what to do. Modern society offers many choices and some people are not comfortable with that.
3. If they are overweight, it gives them an excuse to wear a tent (or otherwise cover up). It may also yield them a “husband”.
“Not Without My Daughter” should be required viewing for any woman considering marrying a Muzzie.
