Perry supported his Lt. Governor. That relationship is different in TX. The Lt. Governor has a lot more power than most.

I supported Cruz at and before the Convention. Dewhurst beat himself. Everyone at the Convention knew it. That is why Perry was booed when he stumped for Dewhurst.
