A Clinton or OsamaObama appointee will overturn this within 30 minutes of enactment.

No doubt a lawsuit from atheist social-terrorist organization “Freedom From Religion”. The state should defy whatever ruling is brought against them. They have every right to do this, and it will be very positive for Mississippi.

Interesting that ACLU wants to wait and see if it will lead to proselyzing in the schools before they decide whether to file a lawsuit or not.

Must be why we haven’t heard anything from ACLU about CSCOPE in Texas schools and students wearing teacher provided burquas in the classroom.

Why wouldn’t students have the right to pray if they wanted to? Would the authorities drag them off the stage or just turn off their mic like they did to that girl?

I’ll get my popcorn and wait to see how the governor reacts when kids start praying to Allah over the intercom...

I remember a controversy a few years after I graduated from high school in Jackson. It made it all the way to the Supreme Court, I believe. The student body president at the time at my old high school was praying via the intercom when she did morning announcements. I don’t know who sued. I don’t know when the practice of praying during announcements started because that did not happen when I was in school. I think I was four or five years older than the girl who led the prayers. Her dad was a football coach among other things. Wonderful man. Anywho, the principal continued to allow the prayers, and he lost his job over it. :-) He was black. I think I would have liked him.

Add this to the recent carry clarifications and I’m really warming up to Bryant as my Governor.

This is such GOOD news!

I saw that mole faced ACLU Atheist Leader on the news. She said she would be watching for signs to sue.
