Chinese birth tourism booms in Southern California

Any child born on U.S. soil is granted citizenship. Hundreds of expecting moms from Mexico have been crossing the border into Arizona to deliver their babies for years as a result. Now, a growing number of pregnant Chinese women are flying to the U.S. to secure their child that prized U.S. birth certificate, and Southern California has become a hot bed of what’s called “birth tourism.”

That part about being subject to the jurisdiction thereof seems to be ignored. Geographic jurisdiction does not equal political jurisdiction.

According to the leading realty salesperson, some 3/4 of home sales (California towns) are to Chinese immigrants.

(Many of the rest are to the 3 or 4 big investment firms that are buying repo’d houses en masse...)

The wording does not say: [leaving out the naturalization clause]

"All persons born in the United States are citizens of the United States... "

it says :

"All persons born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States ... "

Notice the difference? That means people LEGALLY born here (hint: not illegal aliens)

Well, we deserve to be.

I can’t really think of any other country that is singularly determined to kill itself, but this one most certainly is.

And I suspect that it is going to succeed.

That’s the point. Just because a foreign national is in the United States they are not subject to all of our laws. They cannot commit treason meaning they are not subject to our political jurisdiction. It’s nonsense to state just because you are born here during a visit by your parents (or parent) you are automatically a citizen.

If the Chinese think this will help them lay claim to California in the next few decades, the Mexicans will have something to say to them about that.
