Friday afternoon Renz returned to federal court to face charges he violated his parole. Baxter ordered Renz be held without bail.....Renz appeared in court with a broken nose and swollen face, apparently the result of a jail assault, according to lawyers.

Renz attended Oswego State from fall 2009 to fall 2011, graduating cum laude in December 2011 with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School in 2001. He worked at the James Street Wegmans, according to a former manager.
