The fact that we have come to this discussion about defending Our Constitutional rights means it may already be too late. Marx, hitler, mao, and all of the empirical megalomaniac despots throughout history were masters at manipulating the emotions of the populace, and bending them to their will to achieve their own ends. Throughout my adult life, California has always been a bellwether culturally and politically for the US as a whole, typically 10 or 15 years ahead.

I think we can look at California today and see where the US is headed. Dem control, supermajority legislatures, gun control, green hysteria, mega taxation, etc.

1930s Germany was full of basically good people infected with normalcy bias. The holocaust started with demonizing the innocent and euthanizing the unwanted.

The euthanizing in America started with Roe v Wade, and will continue with death panels. Nowadays, leftist leaders demonize innocents like the TEA party, gun owners, and Christians with impunity. It’s clear where this country is headed.
