“Learn from our mistakes and my mistakes,” former Massachusetts governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney told the Conservative Political Action Convention on Friday.

“It’s up to us to make sure that we learn from our mistakes and my mistakes,” Romney said. “And that we take advantage of that learning to make sure that we take back the nation, take back the White House, get the Senate and put in place conservative principles,” Romney said. …

Do you mean it this time, Mr. Mittens? Given the state of CPAC and ACU, something tells me this is more empty pandering.

Mittens is a not a conservative.

The fact he gives an address at CPAC tells me all I need to know.

We no longer have a conservative movement in this country.

“learn from our mistakes” .... like nominating a fracking liberal to run on the Republican ticket.
With that I agree.

put in place conservative principles,” Romney said

hahahahahah, Romney wouldn't know a conservative principle if it smacked in in his severely conservative face - what an arrogant self serving fraud.

He lost Ohio, and the mistake may have been running pro-abortion ads there on TV.

I learned that I have absolutely no hope of ever getting a Conservative elected, unless I absolutely refuse to support anyone who isn't a Conservative.

I have been conciliatory for years. It got me nowhere. Now I am extreme: social conservative and fiscal conservative are the two things I'm looking for, and I don't lift a finger for those who fall short of that criteria.

Romney wasted all his time carpet bombing anyone who even had a conservative thought in the primaries. Once he got the nomination his campaign was bupkus, zero, zip, nada. He didn't fight, he didn't go after Obama. Mittens took a dive and threw the game. Go away Mittens. You're a nice guy, but you don't know how to fight except against members of your own party. Now just GO AWAY.

“Willard...you were the mistake”

But hes right on this none the-less. We need to learn from our successful governors and not from losers like him.

Twenty years of running for office, he spent 55 million dollars of his own money, he won a single election, in that single term in office he devastated the state party, was forced to drop his plans for reelection, and left office with 34% approval, and then proceeded to run for president for 6 years and then lost an election that was impossible to lose against Jimmy Carter II.

Without even getting into his politics, how did the GOPe and rinos ever come to think that Mitt Romney was some kind of big time politician, “the most electable” etc, etc?

In retrospect, now that the ether has worn off and he has destroyed two presidential election cycles in a row, doesn’t his 20 years as a political loser with an unlikable personality and inadequate skills seem to be a little more clear and obvious?

It would be nice if Myth Romney the gungrabbing gay-marriage pushing leftwinger from Massachusetts would vanish from public life, never to return.

Well of course. The loser agreed with Obama on most issues. He didn’t agree, and therefore hated, the conservatives he did run against. The fact Mittens had his advisers telling Jewish groups not to worry about his pro-life rhetoric is all you need to know about this self-serving fraud. Well, you can go even further than that. Mittens advisers making up lies about Sarah Palin, a Christian, openly attempting to discredit her even on the eve of the 2008 election, and doing their best to destroy her afterwards, is all we really should have noted. Well, and before that, he invented ObamaCare. That’s all you really really needed to know... Well, and before that he was openly pro-abortion. That’s all you really really really needed to know. Well, and before that.. uh, well, I better stop it there.
