I’d have some sympathy for your movement if it hadn’t been hijacked by the druggie bunch. I had a debate about this in a state forum - the governor wanted to legalize medical mj but he wanted to be sure plain old pot-heads weren’t being supplied. So he proposed setting up a system where the state would dispense it, based on a verified medical condition (obviously chemo would suffice, but not a hang-nail).

Anyway, that angered the pot-head bunch so much that NOTHING was passed. In one of the debates, I was told FLAT-OUT that the intent is to legalize the stuff, and the medical end was just to get their foot in the door.

So sorry, until you can get the pot-heads out of your movement, you get little sympathy from me.

It is not my movement. I was just pointing out that there are legitimate medical uses for marijuana. But if your position is that because you hate potheads that cancer patients should suffer, I would have to disagree with that.
