One group, from England, even tried to separate themselves by living on an island. That island became quite inbred over thirty years.

IIRC, the group was German, led by Nietzsche’s sister, and founded a village in Brazil. They are today just as stupid and provincial as any other tiny Brazilian village, though unhappier, as they lack a village church.
