Karl Rove Responds To Sarah Palin’s CPAC Thrasing [sic], Rips Her For Quitting As Governor
Mediate ^ | Sunday March 17, 2013

Republican strategist Karl Rove responded to the harsh comments former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had for him at CPAC on Fox News Sunday this morning. Before taking a shot at Palin for not completing her term as governor, he said that Palin was actually in agreement with him on former Senate candidate Todd Akin and that he actually works pro bono for American Crossroads.

[....]

Rove continued that Palin endorsed in primaries and got involved in other races around so he didn’t understand what the problem was with other people doing the same thing. He defended his work for American Crossroads saying he doesn’t “take a dime from my work” with them and actually pays all of his travel expenses for the group out of his own pocket. “I’m thought Sarah Palin was about encouraging grassroots activity. I’m a volunteeer,” said Rove.

Then he took a shot across her bow.

“I appreciate her encouragement that I ought to go home to Texas and run for office. I would be enthused if I ran for office to have her support but I don’t think, I’m a particularly good candidate, a balding fat guy. Second of all, if I did run for office and win I would serve out my term and I wouldn’t leave office midterm,” said Rove.

Please God in Heaven, bring Sarah back to take out these people like Rove who make money regardless of who wins. Country should be first. Todd, let her come back in. Karl Rove is nothing NOTHING to me, now. He knows why she stepped down the constant insane lawsuits that were tearing her family apart (truth to be known, Karl was probably a part of this tactic behind the scenes). They fear her power. She picked a good man to lead Alaska. It’s dumb to think that she is finished. The current class makes sure she has everything thrown at her.

When do you think Hannity will find out?

Hannity is a nice enough guy, but a little dim and uninspiring.

He brags about not being a registered republican, but a conservative. If he's serious, he needs to wake up and quit carrying water for the likes of Rove.

Palin left the Governor's office to come down here and lead the conservative movement and defeat rinos in primary after primary, and democrats in election after election.

Think Rand, Martinez, Rubio, Nikki Haley, and so many of the bright lights among conservatives hopes for a young, energetic, even diverse, future conservative movement of vigorous leadership.

Of course so far you still have Rove to lash your own hopes to.

“I would not be in the United States Senate if it wasn’t for Sarah Palin,” Cruz said.

“Karl should go home to Colorado or Utah and run for office.”

His home is in Austin, Texas.

Second of all, if I did run for office and win I would serve out my term and I wouldn’t leave office midterm,” said Rove.

Easy for Rove to say, he's never had to defend himself of countless, and continued, frivilous ethics charges, out of his own pocket.

Well.....

I detest Rove and admire Palin. But she absolutely should have completed her term. Resigning was a terible move that will forever haunt her.

Spin about lawsuits is just that. You stay and fight - you don’t take your ball and go home.

Then in detwil, explain what she should have done. And explain how she personally should have paid for her and her staff’s legal bills dur to the way the law works there.

Then explain in detail why you ‘feel’ that she should have been a literal slave to liberal legal tactics.

Alaska has a set-up allowing virtually unlimited lawsuits to be filed, all of which must be paid for.

Palin turned out to be the first target in Alaska history, to create a nearly perfect group for such a tool, and Democrats went to town against her.

She had no choice. Democrats early on realized her huge threat, and threw themselves 100% into destroying her.

Please do not fall for it, or help.

Thanks.

Hannity will probably have Tokyo Rove on his radio program Monday to help him spin Sarah’s dead-on statements.

In the end, Hannity always stands with Rove, Guilianni, Rubio, et al - the RINOs and east coast GOPers - who push amnesty and other d’RAT socialism.

He is NO conservative.

I’m with you...can’t watch Hannity or listen to him on the radio...he constantly repeats the same tired mantra over and over...nothing new or original, ever.

And whenever Rove is on O’Reilly or Greta, on the rare times I watch her, channel change immediately to the weird dudes pretending to be miners in the Yukon.

I believe you are right.

“I have become convinced Rove has a problem with women. He bashes Palin, helped undercut Angle in NV, helped take out Katherine Harris in FL, etc. He offers support for male candidates who are just as ‘tea party’ and ‘anti-establishment’.”
