If the RNC has one job, it's GOTV.
The candidates shouldn't have to re-invent the wheel every four years. The RNC should know who their voters are...and how to get them to the polls.
From the last election, it's clear they don't know how to do this.

They don’t. It’s almost comical how the GOP glorifies Ronald Reagan while having absolutely no clue how he did what he did. The man mounted a broad, populist appeal to voters which is something that is utterly lacking in recent presidential candidates.
I mean, really. Can you think of even one thing John McCain or Mitt Romney did to define what conservatism is or provide any convincing reason to vote for them? Did they ever say anything to compare with “Government isn’t the solution to the problem, government is the problem.” No they did not.
